It's late October and we are immersed in our Social Studies Curriculum. Grade 2 is learning about the world around us, studying maps and globes while our grade 3 students have learned so much about the pilgrims!
We are finishing up our pilgrim activities in preparation for Rocky Woods next week. We can't wait!
It's also Victory Garden time for harvesting and planting. The boys and girls are having a great time with all of the hands-on learning opportunities our teachers provide for them.
Our Bus Evacuation drill was smooth and thanks go to Officer Manganello for her help.
Visiting Classrooms
I enjoy visiting our classrooms. Our teachers work very hard and provide your children with excellent instruction. Here are a couple of pics.
Wheelock School collected on Friday for Puerto Rico. We are happy to do this. Please know we realize there have been more than usual reasons to hold collections. I know our hearts go out to all in need. Please know we understand and don't expect everyone to contribute to everything. We raised $314.00 which is great and will be donated to Unicef. Thank you for your generosity.
The weekend is supposed to be gorgeous!
Enjoy!
