It's been a super busy week here! The storm this week was intense with the winds. I hope everyone fared well.
Luckily we moved Rocky Woods and we even got in the Halloween Parade! Both events enjoyed lovely weather and everyone had a great time! I hope your Halloween was fun!
Here's a quick video capturing some our events this fall...

A big thank you to Firefighter Joe Visser from Stoughton who visited grade 2 today with some fire safety tips.
PlayWorks
On Thursday and Friday, Dale Street and Wheelock Classroom Assistants, who work also as our recess monitors, worked with Jill Barry from PlayWorks. PlayWorks is a great organization that works with schools to create safe and fun playground environments. The staff had two half days of training followed by hands-on experiences on the playground with Jill in the afternoon. A good number of students participated in learning some new games. Ask your students if they learned any new games at recess this week. Everyone looked like they were having fun! Thank you to the staff for working with us to create a safe and enjoyable environment for our students.
Principal's Coffee
After rescheduling Rocky Woods due to inclement weather, it seemed like rescheduling the Principal's Coffee was also a good idea! I have rescheduled the Principal's Coffee to November 8th at 1:00pm. I will discuss MCAS results and next steps and Parent Conferences. Hope to see you.
