Wheelock School students were fortunate to benefit from a generous MCPE grant that brought the program assembly, FoodPlay to our school today. Fun and interactive, the boys and girls learned about making healthy nutritional choices. We will be following up through our health classes and in our cafeteria throughout the year. Thank you, MCPE.
A second assembly brought Medfield High School student, Julia Steeger, to our school to present the importance of organizations such as Cradles to Crayons. Julia encouraged our students to donate gently used items to Cradles to Crayons to assist the community. Several Brownies from our school assisted Julia this morning. Julia is working toward her Girl Scout Gold Award. Good luck, Julia. I'm sure you will do a great job!
